Meteorology expects hot weather in desert, coastal areas

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology is expected hot weather would hits several desert and coastal areas during the coming 24 hours.

The center stated, in its weather bulletin on Monday, that rains of varying intensity, accompanied by thunderstorms, would prevail over the provinces of Lahj, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Raymah, Mahweet, Hajjah and Saada, Abyan, Shabwa and Hadramout, as well as Amran, Sanaa, Dhamar.

The center stated that maximum temperatures in Socotra archipelago would range between 34-39 degrees Celsius.

It also warned of low visibility on mountainous roads due to rain, low clouds or fog.
