Coalition forces commit 172 violations of UN-brokered armistice within 24 hours

PROVINCES, Sept. 26 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces committed 172 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours.

A military source reported that the violations were represented by 44 violations of armed reconnaissance and espionage aircraft over the airspace of the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda, and Hodeida and the border fronts.

The source pointed out that the coalition forces and mercenaries committed four violations with air strikes of armed reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and army positions in the north of Hays district in Hodeida, and in Tabat Al-Amdan area in Al-Fakher district, next to Al-Sharji School and Beit Al-Sharji in Bab Al-Ghalq in Dhalea.

The source reported that a breach was recorded in an attack by the mercenaries towards the army’s positions in Al Jannah Harib in Marib.

The source pointed out that six breaches were committed by creating fortifications in Masha’al site and Tabat Al-Defaa in Jizan, east of Jadafer in Raghwan area and in Liaref in Marib and Al-Tabba Al-Khadhraa in Moris, and in Al-Tabba Al-Wasita in Al-Fakher in Dhalea.

The source confirmed that 94 breaches were recorded by shooting at citizens’ homes and army positions in the governorates of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeida, and the border fronts.

The source stated that 23 violations were monitored by artillery shelling of the mercenaries on the governorates of Marib, Dhalea, Hajjah, Saada, and Hodeida and the fronts beyond the border.

Artillery shelling also targeted army positions in Bani Hassan, Al-Mazraq, Midi and Hiran in Hajjah, in Al-Madafen, Al-Malahidh and Razih in Saada, and in Bab Al-Ghalq in Dhalea.

The source indicated that intense artillery shelling by the mercenaries targeted army positions in Hays in Hodeida, and in Al-Amoud and Al-Sayaba in Wadi Jara, Al-Shabaka, Jabal Al-Omda and Jabal Qambura in Jizan.
