Coalition forces violate UN-brokered truce 191 times within 24 hours

SANAA, Sept. 22 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 191 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours.

A military source reported that the violations included 38 sorties of armed reconnaissance and spy planes over the provinces of Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeida, and the border fronts.

According to the source, five violations were monitored by air strikes of armed reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and popular committees in Maqbna district in Taiz and in Al-Shorfa area in Najran, as well as in Al-Samlan area and Hajour area in Al-Hadd Yafa front and in Hajar Battar in Dhalea.

The source reported that seven violations were recorded by the coalition mercenaries’ creation of fortifications in Mastoor farm in Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tuhita district in Hodeida, in Maqbna in Taiz, in Raghwan in Marib, and in Wadi Al-Maymanah and Maymanah Al-Jub in Sabira in Dhalea.

The source confirmed that 104 violations were monitored by shooting at the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeida, and the border fronts.

The coalition mercenaries also committed 37 violations by artillery shelling on Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, and the fronts beyond the border, as intense artillery shelling targeted army and popular committees’ sites in Mala’a, Raghwan and al-Balaq al-Sharqi in Marib, in Haradh, Hiran and Bani Hassan in Hajjah, as well as Al-Madafin, Al-Malahidh and Munabeh in Saada.

The source stated that artillery shelling targeted the army and popular committees’ sites in the north-east and northwest of Hays district in Hodeida, and in Maqbna in Taiz, as well as towards the army and committees’ positions in Al-Amud in Wadi Jarrah, the old camp and Tawaleq mountain in Jizan.
