Iranian FM calls on US to stop its economic terrorism instead of shedding crocodile tears

WORLD, Sept. 21 (YPA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian criticized America’s efforts to use human rights as a tool in order to pass its agenda. Instead of shedding crocodile tears, America should stop economic terrorism.

“An investigation was ordered into (the) tragic death of Mahsa, who, as (the) President said, was just like our own daughters,” he tweeted. “To Iran, human rights are of inherent value — unlike those who see it (as) a tool against adversaries.”

Human rights are self-valued in Iran, unlike those who try to exploit them as a tool against their rivals — America should put an end to its economic terrorism, rather than shedding crocodile tears.

Hossein Amirabdollahian is accompanying the high-level delegation of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi to the 77th Summit of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
