WORLD, Sept. 21 (YPA) – The Russian embassy in Beijing said on Wednesday that exports of coal and natural gas from Russia to China last August set a historical record.
According to the data published on Tuesday by the General Administration of Customs of China, China imported $409.37 of natural gas in August.
This is the highest figure since at least January 2017. The physical volume of deliveries for August was not stated in the database of the Main Customs Department.
According to Chinese customs, shipments increased by %15 compared to July, and year-on-year, growth was %57.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said earlier after the SCO summit that the volume of trade with China is close to $200 billion, and this year it will be between $180 billion and $190 billion.
