President Al-Mashat reiterates Yemen’s keenness to achieve peace

SANAA, Sept. 14 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, reiterated on Wednesday Yemen’s firm and principled position to achieve a just and honorable peace for the Yemeni people and to guarantee all their legitimate rights.

This came during his meeting with Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i.

During the meeting, they discussed the most prominent regional and international developments related to Yemen, in light of the Saudi-led coalition’s continued imposition of the blockade and the detention of oil derivatives ships in flagrant violation of the declared UN armistice, as well as the failure to operate flights to new destinations through Sanaa International Airport.

The meeting touched on aspects related to the performance of Parliament, issues and topics on its agenda for the current period, as well as coordination between the legislative and executive authorities to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
