New clashes leave killed and wounded in Abyan

ABYAN, Sept. 13 (YPA) – A number of UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia were killed and injured in new confrontations on Monday with gunmen in Al-Mahfad district of Abyan province.

Informed sources said that clashes broke out between elements of the security-belt militia and tribal gunmen in Al-Mahfad area, believed to belong to Islah, left one dead and one wounded in the ranks of the militia and damaged their vehicle in the area”.
