Guard injured in Shabwa UAE militias’ attack

SHABWA, Sept. 12 (YPA) – A watchman was injured on Monday in an attack waged by the UAE-funded militia in Ataq city, the Shabwa provincial capital, east of Yemen.

Local sources reported that the guard, Saida Al-Dawli, of the local authority headquarters in the city was injured and transferred to a hospital for treatment, without giving reasons.

Shabwa is witnessing great security chaos after the UAE militia took control of the city of Ataq, following the confrontations that erupted between the militia and Islah militants last August.
