Oil Minister reassures citizens of breakthrough of fuel crisis

SANAA, Sept. 10 (YPA) – The Minister of Oil and Minerals, Ahmed Abdullah Daris, on Saturday reassured the citizens of the breakthrough of the fuel crisis after the entry of a number of oil derivatives ships to the port of Hodeida.

The oil minister called, in a statement, on the United Nations to quickly release the remaining seized fuel ships, and not to be held them in the future.

“The US-Saudi aggression coalition is still holding five fuel ships despite being inspected in Djibouti and having obtained entry permits from the United Nation,” Daris explained.

Daris considered those arbitrary practices and inhumane behavior by the coalition a clear obstruction to the UN-sponsored armistice agreement and a clear violation of its terms.

He warned against the continuation of piracy on fuel ships, praising the efforts of the Supreme Political Council to communicate with the United Nations to inform it of the obstacles practiced by the coalition countries and their repeated intentional detention of ships.
