2 civilians shot dead in Aden drive-by gunfire

ADEN, Sept. 09 (YPA) – About two citizens were shot dead on Friday by unidentified gunmen in the center of the city of Aden, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia.

Local sources in the city reported that two gunmen on a motorbike fired heavily at the citizen, Wissam Ali Abdullah Al-Yamani, who was riding with a motorcycle driver, killing him with the driver in the middle of Omar Al-Mukhtar neighborhood in Sheikh Othman area.

Perpetrators, who are likely to belong to the “STC” militia, fled to an unknown destination, the source added.

The crimes of assassination and explosive devices in the city of Aden rose after the return of the so-called Saudi-formed “presidency council” to the city last March, to record all the crimes of murder and kidnapping of women against an unknown person.
