TAIZ, Sept. 07 (YPA) – One of the most important investment groups in the areas under the control of the Islah militants was attacked on Thursday by an armed group in Taiz province.
According to a statement issued by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry” in the province, in which it was circulated by activists on social media.
The statement included a “proclamation” addressed by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry to the Director General of Taiz Police loyal to the Saudi-led the coalition, Brigadier Mansour Al-Akhali, confirming that the “Al-Shaibani Factory” was attacked with live bullets by the armed group.
Meanwhile, Al-Shaibani Commercial Group stated, in a statement, that gunmen on military crews of the coalition attacked the company’s property and opened fire on its headquarters with the aim of extortion.
A source in Al-Shaibani Group said the attack would threaten to stop the activity of the group, which is one of the pillars of the national industry and the oldest industrial groups in the country, which is causing harm to hundreds of its employees and their families.
Taiz city, which is under the control of the Islah Party and its armed factions, is plunged into one of the worst crises of insecurity in the province.
