196 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 07 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 196 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Wednesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 60 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Bayda provinces and border fronts.

The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries committed two violations by creation of combat fortifications near Salman building in Taiz city, and in west of Al-Hanajir in Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district in Hodeida.

An another breach was recorded by an infiltration attempt in Maqbna area of Taiz, the source added.

The source pointed out that nine breaches included air strikes of coalition’s warplanes hit citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Sabirah area, Rutab Wa Marbaa Roh Allah area in Bab Ghalq of Dhalea and in north of Hays district.

He also confirmed that 47 violations by artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada and Hodeida.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Kasara and Malaa areas of Marib, Al-Mazraq and Haradh areas of Hajjah, Al-Malaheedh and Al-Madafin districts of Saada.

The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district and in north of Hays district in Hodeida, and in Al-Ahtoob and Al-Selw areas of Taiz.

In addition, the source declared that 77 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Dhalea and border fronts.
