Yemeni riyal witnesses state of fluctuation in southern provinces

SANAA, Aug. 31 (YPA) -The Yemeni riyal rate on Wednesday witnessed a state of fluctuation in exchange markets in the provinces of Aden and Hadramout, where US dollar price ranged between 1117 to 1123 riyals, and Saudi riyal between 292 to 296 riyals.

Meanwhile, the riyal exchange rates maintained its stability in the areas under the National Salvation Government control at 559 riyals to the dollar.

The exchange rates of the Yemeni riyal against foreign currencies today, Wednesday, August 31, are as follows:

Yemeni riyal exchange rates in Sanaa:
US dollar = purchase: 558 riyals, selling 559 riyals
The Saudi riyal = purchase: 148 riyals, selling: 149 riyals
UAE dirham = purchase: 148 riyals, selling: 149 riyals.

Yemeni riyal exchange rates in Aden and Hadramout:
US dollar = purchase: 1109 riyals, selling: 1117 – 1126 riyals
Saudi riyal = purchase: 292 riyals, selling: 294 – 296 riyals
UAE dirham = purchase: 296 riyals, selling: 298 riyals.
