DHALEA, Aug. 28 (YPA) – UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) militia sent on Sunday military reinforcements to Dhalea province, southern Yemen.
Local sources familiar with the matter said that the UAE reinforced its militias in the “Second Sa’iqa Brigade” in “Hajar” area northwest of the province with several armored vehicles.
The sources confirmed that other reinforcements, led by Hadi Al-Awlaki, the commander of the so-called Al-Dhalea axis, and Abdullah Mahdi Saeed, the head of the joint operations of the axis arrived at the areas of Al-Fakher, Battar and al-Joub in the same province.
Observers of military affairs believe that these reinforcements came as part of an Emirati plan for the return of confrontations on Dhalea fronts, in light of the coalition’s violations of the humanitarian and military truce in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations, with the aim of drawing attention to the repercussions of the military operations launched by the coalition countries against Islah party in eastern and southern Yemen.
