ABYAN, Aug. 28 (YPA) – The recruits of the first brigade of the presidential guard withdrew on Sunday from the city of Shaqra in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
Local sources said that the recruits of the first brigade presidential guard loyal to Islah led by Said Bin Maeli, left the city of Shaqra across the international coastline and guarded by Amaliqa militia, after handing over their military positions to the coastal belt militia in Abyan province.
It is worth noting that more than 30 recruits from the first brigade presidential guard were killed last Monday during an artillery bombardment by UAE-backed militias, targeti several positions in Al-Tariyah front.
