164 violations of UN-declared military, humanitarian truce recorded in Yemen
SANAA, Aug. 27 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 164 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Saturday, citing a military source.
According to the military source, the violations included flying of coalition’s warplanes over Al-Sauh area in Najran and 37 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Hodeida, Jawf, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea and Bayda provinces and border fronts.
One breach was recorded by a missile shelling at the army’s sites in Jabal Dhariba of Natiaa district in Bayda and another violation was recorded by pushing military reinforcements in Al-Saleeb area of Maouya district in Taiz.
The source declared that coalition’s mercenaries committed ten breaches by creation of combat fortifications in Aqbat Bwarah Shaab Arak of Harib district in Marib, Al-Kadeha, Al-Barh and Maqbna districts of Taiz province.
The source pointed out that three breaches included air strikes of coalition’s warplanes attacked citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Bab Ghalq in Dhalea and in north of Hays district in Hodeida.
The source reported that one violation was recorded by a missile shelling at the army’s sites in east of Hays district in Hodeida.
He also confirmed that 44 violations by artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Marib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Bayda and border fronts.
The source mentioned that an artillery bombardment attacked the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi, Al-Rawdha, Al-Dashosh and and Al-Talaah areas of Marib, Haradh, Hairan and Al-Tina areas of Hajjah, Al-Zahir, Makiras and Natiaa areas of Bayda, Al-Malaheedh, Munabeh, Razih and eastern Rashaha districts of Saada.
The source pointed out that an artillery shelling targeted sites of the Yemeni army in Al-Jabalia, north and east of Hays district in Hodeida, Maqbna area of Taiz, Al-Amood and Al-Sabaia areas of Wadi Jara in Jizan border province, Takhia, Abwab Al-Hadid and Al-Rabuaah areas of Asir and in Al-Sauh, Al-Biqaa, Jabal Al-Omdah and Al-Shurfah areas in Najran.
In addition, the source declared that 72 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida, Dhalea and border fronts.
