Sanaa Airport customs destroys 4 tons of smuggled, expired medicines, damaged parcels

SANAA, Aug. 25 (YPA) – Sanaa Airport Customs on Thursday destroyed large quantities of smuggled and expired medicines, damaged parcels that had accumulated in customs warehouses since 2008 until the airport closure date in 2016.
Director of Customs, Abdullah Abdullah Rafea, indicated that the destruction process came based on the circulars and instructions issued by the chairmanship of the Customs Authority regarding the destruction of damaged and expired goods in customs warehouses.
