ISIS appoints Emir in Taiz

TAIZ, Aug. 24 (YPA) – ISIS has appointed an emir of the so-called “Taiz Wilayat” in the Saudi-led coalition-held areas of Taiz city.

Researcher in the affairs of terrorist groups, Mohammed Faisal, confirmed that the organization appointed the so-called “Abu Hammam Al-Tazi” as the emir of the so-called “Taiz Wilayat” last month, and took Al-Turbah area, the center of Al-Shamaitain district of Taiz, a den, indicating that “Abu Hammam” has good military experience in fighting and appeared several times in the areas of Wadi Hadramout, according to the UAE-funded Aden TV.

Political observers considered that the elements of “Al-Qaeda and ISIS” are a tool in the hands of the Zionist-American, funded by Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and used by the Saudi-led coalition to control the areas of Al-Hijriyah and Al-Shamaitain, which are under Islah militants’ control.

The observers cited the events that took place during the past two days in Abyan after the UAE militias launched a military operation against the so-called terrorist elements, which took control of the areas of Shakra, Ahwar and the coastal road in Abyan, without recording any significant confrontation with these elements.

This is similar to the Emirati scenario with al-Qaeda elements in the city of Mukalla, the Hadramout provincial capital, in 2016, in which the terrorist elements disappeared from the city within hours without any confrontations, and the Emirati forces has imposed on Al-Rayyan Civil Airport and turned it into a military base with the American forces.
