SANAA, Aug. 23 (YPA) – The first commercial Hebrew plane crossed Saudi airspace to a destination outside the Gulf states for the first time on Monday-Tuesday night, the “Times of Israel” newspaper reported on Tuesday.
The flight IZ611 of the Zionist Airlines took off at exactly 1:15 at night (local time), and was scheduled to land in the Republic of Seychelles six hours later, and the crossing of Saudi airspace shortened the journey time by about 20 minutes.
Since the agreements to normalize relations known as the Ibrahim Agreements (2020), Saudi Arabia has allowed Israeli airlines to use its airspace for flights to and from the UAE and Bahrain.
