SANAA, Aug. 22 (YPA) – Iran’s Foreign Ministry said that its bilateral talks with Saudi Arabia have nothing to do with the nuclear agreement talks in Vienna.
During a press conference in Tehran on Monday, the Ministry’s spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, pointed out that both would help restore calm and security in the Middle East.
He said that his country had taken “important” steps to restore bilateral relations with Saudi Arabia, which had been diplomatically cut off since 2016.
Kanaani added that the talks with Riyadh were good, noting that there is a political would to restore relations.
The spokesman pointed out that the talks would have an impact on restoring calm and security in the Middle East.
Iran had sent its response to the final European draft of the agreement, and Washington said it was studying with its allies the Iranian response and ready to comply with the 2015 nuclear deal if Tehran did the same step.
