Moscow explosion kills daughter of famous Russian philosopher

MOSCOW, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The famous Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin survived an assassination attempt while his daughter was killed last night in a car bombing on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow.

Russian media reported Sunday morning that Darya Dugin, the 29-year-old daughter of Russian philosopher Aleksandr Dugin, was killed in a car explosion in Moscow.

According to the media, Darya Dugina died after her car exploded in flames while she was driving home.

It is thought that her father, the Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin who is known as “Putin’s brain,” may have been the intended target of the attack.

An explosive device was presumably planted in the Toyota Land Cruiser belonging to political scientist and journalist Darya Dugina, who was killed in an explosion, the press service of the Russian Investigative Committee’s Main Investigative Department in the Moscow Region reported on Sunday.
