156 violations of UN-declared truce recorded in Yemen
SANAA, Aug. 12 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 156 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Thursday, citing a military source.
According to the military source, the violations included 24 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hajjah, Dhalea, Bayda, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts.
The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in west of Al-Dinin area of Al-Jabalia in Tuhayta district, Jabal Al-Azfa in Hays district of Hodeida and in Maqbana area of Taiz.
The source pointed out that coalition’s mercenaries carried out an infiltration attempt at the army’s sites in north of Hays district in Hodeida province.
In addition, the source declared that 110 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Hodeida, Dhalea, Saada and border fronts.
He also said that 18 violations by an artillery and missile shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa areas of Marib, Saada, Hajjah, Hodeida and border fronts.
The source mentioned that an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Bani Hassan, Al-Mazraq and Haradh districts of Hajjah, and in Al-Madafin, Al-Boqaa and Al-Malaheedh areas of Saada.
The source pointed out that the mercenaries also bombarded the army’s sites in Hays district of Hodeida, Maqbana area of Taiz and Al-Amood of Wadi Jara and Tabat Kamila areas of Jizan region.
