ABU DHABI, Aug. 08 (YPA) – The UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, stated on Monday that the volume of trade between his country and the Zionist entity is expected to increase to $2 billion during the current year 2022.
In televised statements to Abu Dhabi TV, Al-Zeyoudi said that the volume of trade between his country and the Zionist entity is expected to rise to $2 billion in 2022, compared to $1.4 billion in 2021.
Al-Zeyoudi highlighted the importance of the free trade agreement with the Zionist entity, which was recently signed, in devotion to the shame of normalization and the alliance between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv.
He revealed that the free trade agreement with the Zionist entity will allow Emirati companies to enter into government tenders and procurement contracts, and will also put them ahead in the Zionist services sector.
On May 31, the UAE signed a free trade agreement with the Zionist entity to establish public normalization between them.
The UAE was the first Gulf country and the third Arab country to publicly normalize relations with the Zionist entity, and the signing was brokered by former US President Donald Trump in September 2020, before Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan normalized their relations as well.
