Land liberation, decision independence, people protection are constants for achieving peace: Lt. Gen. Al-Rowishan

SANAA, Aug. 05 (YPA) – Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant-General, Jalal Al-Rowishan, said on Thursday that the liberation of the land, the protection of the people, and the independence of political decision are constants for achieving peace.

This came in statements he made to Al-Masirah TV channel.

Lieutenant-General Al-Rowishan noted that the goals of steadfastness, resistance, and confronting tutelage are clear, and acceptance of the truce comes in this context.

“We realize that the state of no war and no peace is stressful for our people, and we are preparing to confront the plans of the aggression coalition in this regard,” he said.

Al-Rowishan pointed out that the American push towards the armistice had strategic agendas in the region, beginning by cutting the road to the east and protecting the security of the Zionist entity.

Regarding the truce of the previous four months, he said that “it was not encouraging, and we did not reach a formula regarding the economic file, and that is why the 6-month truce was refused.”

He concluded his statement by saying that they would monitor “the behavior of the aggression coalition towards its commitments during these two months, and in light of this, the decision maker would determine his future options.”
