Ayatollah Khamenei urges necessary measures to repair damage of floods

TEHRAN, Jul. 31 (YPA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei offered his condolences to all the victims of the flooding and called on the Iranian officials to take necessary initiatives to repair the damage caused by the floods.

In a Saturday message, Sayyed Khamenei said the terrible and damaging flood in many parts of the country has inflicted physical, financial and emotional injuries on many Iranians.

The Iranian authorities should adopt all the necessary initiatives to repair the extensive damage caused by devastating summer floods across the country, he said.

Sayyed Khamenei also appreciated the timely and rapid presence of the officials in the flood-hit areas and also for the efforts made by the popular relief groups for helping the victims.

“It is the duty of all of us to continue these Go-pleasing measures and make constant efforts to alleviate the effects of these painful events,” the Leader stated
