YPC: Coalition seeks to create fuel crisis in Sanaa

SANAA, Jul. 28 (YPA) – The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) in Sanaa on Thursday confirmed that the Saudi-led coalition had seized a new fuel ship, in a new and continuous violation of the declared armistice.

The company’s official spokesman, Issam Al-Mutawakel, said in a tweet on the Twitter platform: “The coalition has detained a diesel ship, despite it being searched and obtaining UN entry permits.”

He pointed out that the coalition is seeking, through its arbitrary practices of piracy and the detention of fuel ships, to create a crisis in light of the existing armistice and to deepen the human suffering of the Yemeni people.

The spokesman held the coalition and the United Nations fully responsible for any supply bottleneck in oil derivatives.
