Foreign Policy: The results of Putin’s trip to the Middle East are more successful than Biden’s trip
WORLD, Jul. 23 (YPA) – Foreign Policy reported that recent trips to the Middle East by President of Russian, Vladimir Putin and President of the US, Joe Biden have shown that countries in the region are supporting Moscow in shaping a multipolar world.
According to the magazine, “ the president’s Middle East tour has not been very successful, “the poor results of Biden’s visit to the Middle East indicate that key regional players, particularly from the Gulf States, are unwilling to abandon relations with Russia and China. Moscow has common goals with almost all of Washington’s partners in the region, on rising energy prices and shaping a multipolar world.”
The Article in the magazine asserts that Biden failed to force Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to “act on orders” from Washington on the issue of increasing oil production.
“The Saudis now have much greater overlap with the Russians regarding oil prices, compared to the United States on regional security issues,” the magazine said.
The article described the Russian leader as a “skillful player in the Middle East”, and noted that his visit to Tehran confirms that Moscow has partners interested in cooperation in the region.
