Coalition’s troops carry out 172 violations of UN-declared truce in Yemen

SANAA, Jul. 19 (YPA) – The US-backed Saudi-led aggression coalition forces and their mercenaries have committed 172 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported on Tuesday, citing a military source.

According to the military source, 36 armed reconnaissance aircrafts flew over Marib, Taiz, Jawf, Hodeida, Dhalea, Saada, Bayda and border fronts.

Three violations were recorded by air strikes hit citizens’ homes and army’s sites in Rutab Roh Allah and in Hajr Batar area of Dhalea.

The source affirmed that new combat fortifications were created in surround of Marib city and in Al-Jabalia area of Tuhayta district in Hodeida.

In addition, the source declared that 102 breaches were recorded, with heavy shooting at citizens’ homes and sites of the army and popular committees in Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeida, Bayda and border fronts.

He also said that 29 violations by an artillery shelling were recorded at the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi area of Marib and in north of Hays district in Hodeida.

The source declared that an artillery shelling were recorded at Marib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeida and border fronts, while the mercenaries targeted the army’s sites in Al-Balq Al-Sharqi and Malaa areas of Marib.

The source mentioned that an artillery bombing targeted the army’s sites in Al-Jabal Al-Ahmar of Al-Hawmara, Maqbana and eastern area of Taiz, Al-Malaheedh area of Saada and Haradh area of Hajjah.

The source pointed out that the mercenaries also bombarded the army’s sites in Hays district of Hodeida and in Jizan region.
