NCM expects dust wave sweeping several Yemeni provinces

SANAA, July. 17 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has expected warm and dusty weather in the desert and coastal areas of Yemen during the next 24 hours.

In its weather bulletin on Sunday, the center stated that the weather would be relatively dusty in the deserts of Jawf, Saada, Marib, Shabwa, Hadramout, Mahra and parts of the northwestern mountainous highlands.

The center indicated to the continuation of rains of varying intensity would be expected also in separate areas of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Raymah and Mahweet.

The center stated that maximum temperatures might be between 38-43 degrees Celsius in the desert areas and the interior hilltops, and 34-37 degrees Celsius in the southern and western coastal areas.

It warned citizens in areas where it expected to rain to avoid being in flood streams and water lanes, as well as vehicle drivers on mountainous roads as a result of low horizontal visibility due to rain and low clouds.
