MAHRAH, Jul.06 (YPA) – Several directorates of Mahrah province, eastern Yemen , have been experiencing a complete power outage for the fourth day in a row.
Local sources confirmed that the power plant was permanently decommissioned, last Saturday evening, in the city of Al-Ghaydah, the administrative center of the province, and a number of directorates, due to the run-out of fuel.
The sources explained that the suffering of the people worsened madly due to the power outage in the light of extreme heat, as the Saudi-led coalition and Maeen Abdul-Malik government continued to ignore the electricity corporation’s request to offer fuel and pay its financial dues.
Residents of Al-Ghaydah city and all other directorates have complained of complex living crises in recent times as the coalition-backed Government raised improvement fees at Shahin border pot and the collapse of the local currency.
