ADEN, Jul. 04 (YPA) – The prices of sacrificial animals in the local markets in the port city of Aden, southern Yemen, on Monday recorded a record and unprecedented rise in conjunction with the approach of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
Many citizens in Aden province complained that livestock dealers raised the prices of sacrificial animals in a crazy manner that exceeded their purchasing power.
The citizens stressed that prices in the central livestock market in the Dar Saad district witnessed a record rise.
“The prices were raised per kilo of meat from 10,000 riyals to 15,000 Yemeni riyals,” citizens said.
