SANAA, July. 02 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected on Saturday a clear to partly cloudy weather in most Yemeni provinces during the coming 24 hours.
In its weather forecast, the center said the weather would be partly cloudy in parts of the western mountainous heights of the provinces of Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Raymah, Mahweet, Hajjah, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada.
The center stated that the rains might be extend eastward to parts of the interior hilltops of Lahj, Abyan and Shabwa.
It affirmed that the weather would be relatively dusty and warm during the day in the deserts and coastal plains, where the maximum temperatures range between 40-45 degrees Celsius, while the humid weather in the coastal areas and the Socotra Archipelago, with the maximum temperatures between 34-39 degrees Celsius.
The center indicated moderate to high speed winds on the Socotra archipelago and the entrance to Bab al-Mandab, disturbing the sea and rising the sea.
It warned citizens in areas where rain expected to avoid being in flood corridors in water ways and valleys, as well as mud or rock slides, due to low visibility on roads and mountain turns during and after the rain.
