Rain of varying intensity expected within coming 24 hours

SANAA, June.29 (YPA) – The National Center of Meteorology expected rain of varying intensity during the next 24 hours.

The center explained in its weather bulletin on Wednesday the rains would focus on the provinces of Lahij, Taiz, Ibb, Dhalea, Raymah, Mahweet and Hajjah, Dhamar, Sanaa, Amran and Saada, as well as Bayda, northern Abyan and Hadramout and Mahra.

It also confirmed the continuation of the relatively dusty and warm weather during the day, affecting the desert areas and the interior hilltops, with maximum temperatures ranging between “37-44” degrees Celsius, and 33 and 38 degrees Celsius on the Socotra archipelago and all coastal areas.

The meteorological center warned citizens of torrential rains in water ways and valleys in areas where rain expected, and of mud and rocky slides, as well as low visibility on roads and mountain bends during and after rain.
