6 bodyguards killed by car bombing in Aden

LAHJ, June. 29 (YPA) – About 6 bodyguards were killed on Wednesday by a car bombing in the center of Aden, south of Yemen.

Local sources said that the explosion targeted the convoy of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council’s leader, Saleh Al-Sayed Al-Yafei, next to the College of Education in Khor Maksar, which led to also wounding 7 others.

Al-Yafei was accused of being behind many crimes of assassinations, arrests and looting siege to the lands of citizens in the city of Aden and Lahj.

The sources reported that Al-Yafei was slightly injured in the blast.
