Zionist settlers uproot dozens of Palestinian olive trees south of Tubas

OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jun. 28 (YPA) – Zionist Settlers uprooted dozens of olive trees in the West Bank town of Tammun, south of Tubas.

Palestinian sources reported on Monday evening that during an inspection the lands in the Al-Khalil area, east of the town, Palestinians discovered that settlers had uprooted 46 olive trees.

The Zionist Settlers have stepped up their incursions into the East Tammun area recently, amid warnings that such incursions could follow land grabs and the establishment of new outposts.

They also attacked the homes of citizens in the village of Yatma, south of Nablus.

Ghassan Daghlas, in charge of settlements file in the Palestinian Authority in the northern part of the West Bank, said a group of settlers attacked the homes of citizens in the village and  they were confronted by residents.

He added that the area has been witnessing an escalation of attacks by settlers targeting citizens and their property.
