Saudi Arabia suspends Omani telecommunications company in Aden

ADEN, Jun. 27 (YPA) -Security factions have attacked an Omani telecommunications company in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden. This was reported by Yemen News Portal, based on testimonies of local sources.

According to local sources, security forces loyal to Saudi Arabia’s have cut off broadcasting equipment and confiscated 4G equipment of the Yemen Oman United (YOU) telecommunication company, disrupting telecommunications in several directorates.

The campaign against the company came after direct directives from the Saudi ambassador.

According to the sources, Saudi Arabia fears that the Yemen Oman You company will take control over the sector, especially since the company offers benefits that are not usually available in Aden.
