ADEN, Jun. 26 (YPA) – A southern journalist revealed the reasons why Rashad al-Alimi, the head of Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, does not return to Yemen’s southern port city of Aden.
The journalist Majed Al-Da’eri said: “The return of the chairman of the Presidential Council from Riyadh has stalled to this day because he has not been able to obtain any financial support or Saudi assistance, to address the electricity fuel crisis in Aden and enforce the stability of the exchange of the national currency.”
Al-Da’eri added in a tweet that the 900 million riyals recently announced to buy oil derivatives remain media promises like other $3 billion grant.
He called on Al-Alimi to return to Aden, stressing that the revolution of the people is waiting for him to return to the al-Ma’ashiq Palace.
Al-Da’eri said that what inside Yemeni territory is enough to avoid the insult and humiliation.
