OCCUPIED PALESTINE, Jun. 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation tanks, military vehicles and bulldozers on Wednesday infiltrated the southern Gaza borders east of Rafah, destroying farmlands and shooting tear gas at farmers and herders in the area, Palestinian media reported.
According WAFA News Agency, at least six military vehicles and bulldozers, backed by tanks, breached the borders, razed and destroyed privately owned land, and chased farmers and herders out of the area by shooting tear gas and live gunfire in their direction.
The farmers and herders quickly left the area in fear for their lives and to avoid being captured by the Israeli army, the agency said.
Earlier, Israeli soldiers opened gunfire and shot tear gas at farmers and herders east of Jabaliya, in the north of the Gaza Strip.
