Public Funds Prosecution’s official in Shabwa threatened with liquidation

SAHBWA, June. 20 (YPA) – Deputy of the “Public Funds Prosecution” in Shabwa province was threatened on Monday with physical liquidation.

The Public Prosecutor in Shabwa, Judge Mohsen Batum, decided to suspend his work indefinitely, because he was threatened inside his office, during his investigation with a number of corruption suspects, according to Al-Mahariya TV.

Judge Batum affirmed that the Shabwa authorities withdrew the prosecution’s bodyguards and his personal escorts, indicating that working in the Prosecution in the province would be almost impossible.

Meanwhile, human rights activists considered withdrawing the guard and the escorts of Judge Batam, making him in the circle of targeting, and a prelude to attacking or liquidating him, holding the UAE-backed authorities in Shabwa full responsible.
