WORLD, Jun. 20 (YPA) – Indonesian President Joko Widodo will visit Germany, Russia and Ukraine next week, the Jakarta Post reported Monday.
“President Joko Widodo plans on Monday to reveal details of his trip to Germany, Russia and Ukraine after meeting with Foreign Minister Retno Marsudi, who has returned from a trip abroad to Europe,” the paper quoted a senior Indonesian government source as saying.
The paper added that the president’s statement on his visit to Europe, scheduled for next week, could be issued today after the cabinet meeting.
“Next week, (President Joko Widodo) will carry out a mission on behalf of the United Nations, urging Russian President Vladimir Putin, among other things, to allow Ukraine to export the wheat the world needs. Of course, he will discuss with Putin the G20 summit to be hosted by Indonesia in Bali.
