Iranian commander: Any slightest threat to Iranian territory will be met with a strong slap

TEHRAN, Jun. 15 (YPA) –  Commander of the Iranian Army’s Air Defense Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard  said Tuesday that the slightest threat from the enemy will be met with a strong slap from these forces, which monitor all enemy movements outside the country’s borders.

According to Iran’s Fars news agency, Brigadier General Alireza Sabahifard  in a speech to a crowd of military commanders at the Air Force Command Center, stressed the role and impact of Iran’s international air defense deterrent, where the Air Defense Forces are now one of the most powerful pillars of national defense in front of foreigners.

He underlined that the country’s radars and air defense systems constantly check the movements by the enemies in the region, specially in the Persian Gulf.

“The use of the air defense forces in the competencies, capabilities, internal elite and internal sciences of experts in the defense sciences has raised the level of national power, which has become a very remarkable achievement.”

“The Air Defense Forces can play an important and valuable role in upgrading the defence force because of its impact on providing security to citizens,” he said.
