LAHJ, Jun. 14 (YPA) – A leader in the so-called Southern Resistance has been killed on Monday night in Yemen’s southern Lahj province, eyewitness said .
Eyewitnesses said that the leader of the southern resistance Rushdie Hassan al-Tayyar was assassinated this evening by unknown gunmen near the city of al-Habilin.
They said the gunmen fired a hail of bullets at him, killing him instantly.
The southern provinces are experiencing unprecedented security chaos due to the conflict between the Saudi-led coalition’s factions.
