SANAA, June.11 (YPA) – The Saudi-led coalition is studing arrangements and plans to support its militants in Yemen with qualitative weapons, according to Saudi media sources.
Assistant editor-in-chief of “Okaz” newspaper, who is close to the royal palace, “Abdullah Al Hatila,” said the arrangements would come in preparation for a decisive battle against Sanaa forces in Yemen with the support of Riyadh and Abu Dhabi.
He stressed that the foreign visit carried out by the head of the so-called Riyadh-formed Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, came within the framework of mobilizing political, financial and military support to confront the forces of Sanaa.
“The visit is going in parallel with the military arrangements to confront the Houthis, and the qualitative armament of the Yemeni forces will be soon,” he said.
The statements of the Saudi journalist, Al Hutaila, came also in light of the continuous mobilization operations practiced by the coalition forces in Yemen, taking advantage of the UN-sponsored military and humanitarian truce that has been extended for additional two months.
