Southern politician reveals nature of upcoming battle in Aden

RIYADH, Jun. 09 (YPA) – A southern politician and academic loyal to the UAE-backed “Southern Transitional Council” (STC) on Thursday revealed the upcoming battle in Aden and the rest of the southern provinces.

The politician Hussein Laqwar, who resides in Saudi Arabia, confirmed that parties in the “Presidential Command Council” are heading to ignite the battle with what he called “sons of the south,” referring that the confrontation will be with the “STC.”

Laqwar explained in a tweet on Twitter that “some members of the Presidential Council are rushing the decisive battle of Armageddon with the people of the southern provinces.”

He pointed out that the people of the southern provinces did not weaken in the face of Afash’s force (referring to ex-president Ali Saleh) or give up their goal, which is in a less capable position than it is today.

The number of the STC militias, established by the UAE, is estimated at more than 120,000 recruits, most of whom are from Dhalea, Yafa’a and the anti-Abyan and Shabwa areas.
