Transport Minister praises Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation’s efforts

SANAA, Jun. 06 (YPA) – Minister of Transport, Abdulwahab Al-Durra, on Monday praised the role of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation and its efforts in providing services to the Yemeni people through the strategic port of Hodeida.

This came during his chairing a meeting in Sanaa, in the presence of the Chairman of the Corporation, Captain Muhammad Abu Bakr Ishaq, to discuss the development and modernization plans of the Yemeni Red Sea Ports Corporation for 2022.

The meeting reviewed the projects implemented and under implementation within the national vision in the second phase, especially with regard to the development of the Hodeida port and its necessary needs.

In turn, Captain Ishaq touched on the challenges and difficulties facing the work and tasks of the Corporation.

He stressed that the Hodeida port is working with all its energy with high efficiency, despite the systematic destruction of its equipment and devices that are important to the port’s work.
