President Al-Mashat stresses need to expand implementation of water, sanitation projects

SANAA, June.05 (YPA) – President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stressed the need to expand the implementation of water and sanitation projects by moving to renewable energy projects.

During a meeting with Minister of Water and Environment, Abdul-Raqeeb Al-Shurmani, and his deputy, Hanin Al-Dreeb, the President Al-Mashat affirmed that this move would contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens and reducing dependence on fuel in light of the current conditions.

He stressed the need for water and sanitation institutions to move from the stage of dependence on others to the stage of self-reliance.
