SANAA, Jun. 02 (YPA) – The Yemeni riyal exchange rate on Thursday declined dramatically against foreign currencies in Aden and Hadramout provinces, where the price of one dollar reached 1,061 riyals, 271 riyals against Saudi riyal.
Observers of economic affairs in Yemen saw that this portends a new economic catastrophe that doubles the living burdens of the Yemeni citizens and increases their suffering in light of the continuous rise in food and basic foodstuffs.
Meanwhile, the Yemeni riyal maintained stability in the areas under the control of the Salvation Government in Sanaa, reaching 565 riyals per dollar.
