STC militants block main streets in Aden

ADEN, May 18 (YPA) – The UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (SYC)’s militia on Tuesday abruptly blocked most of the main streets in Yemen’s southern port city of Aden.

According to local sources in the city, dozens of the militants were deployed in the vicinity of the coalition-controlled Central Bank of Aden in the Crater area, preventing cars and citizens from passing towards the bank.

The sources did not reveal the reasons for the deployment.
