SANAA, May 09 (YPA) – The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced on Monday, the killing of the deputy commander of the Ukrainian Navy.
The Ministry said in a statement that a Russian missile targeted his helicopter.
In a related context, 60 people were killed in the bombing of a school in the eastern Ukraine’s Luhansk Oblast, Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, said on Sunday.
During his participation in a G7 summit, in the village of Belogorivka in Luhansk region, a Russian bomb killed sixty civilians, Zelenskyy said in a video call.
Moscow has described its moves since February 24 as a “special military operation” to disarm Ukraine and rid it of what it calls the Nazis and of anti-Russian nationalism that is fueled by the West.
