Young man killed after being tortured in Aden prison

ADEN, May 09 (YPA) – A Young man was killed and three others were injured after being tortured in one of prisons run by the UAE-funded Souther4n Transitional Council (STC) militias in the city of Aden, south of Yemen.

A according to the human rights sources, clashes erupted late Sunday evening between inmates in Bir Ahmed prison and members of the STC, against the backdrop of the resumption of torture of political prisoners under the management of foreign officers, including Emiratis.

The prisoners opposed efforts to transfer their colleagues to torture rooms, which caused a shooting that killed the man and wounded others.
